		<description>I agree here.  the bible has always been about controlling people be they privative tribes being held together by a collection of educated priests or modern people who the church wants to keep in line with their morality.   that is not to say that it&#039;s malicious.  I&#039;m sure that most priests and clergy believe that what they do is for the best.  But that they believe it&#039;s good doesn&#039;t make it so. 

I had a similar crisis of faith and I&#039;m glad to say that I returned to mine, though in all fairness, we are a different sort of faith and there is no playing on fears.  but I have often been close to atheism.  And were it not for my personal experiences with religion, I&#039;d likely be an atheist now.</description>
